LOCAL EXCURSIONS by Pefki Travel
Some of these excursions run only on certain days, if any of these interest you, please contact Madison to confirm that the excursion will be available during your stay.
ATHENS (possibility to be picked up from Limni at 8am)
With bus 7.00 am (from Kerasiotis Caffe)
First stop is in about 1h30min at Prokopi – Ag Ioannis church.
Arrive in Athens approximately at 11.30, tour of the city with the bus for about one hour
Visit Acropolis and Acropolis museum for about one hour.
Free time until 5.00 pm in the afternoon for shopping, lunch and a walk in the center of Athens.
5pm meet in front of the parliament to watch the evzoni changing of the guard.
Depart at 5.30 for Evia
Arrive in Pefki at about 10pm
This tour does not include entrance to the Acropolis /Acropolis Museum or lunch.
With the bus at 9.00 o'clock (from Kerasiotis Caffe)
First stop after about 10 mins to Istiaia for the bazaar market for some shopping.
After that is a visit to the beautiful city of Edipsos for coffee ( 1hour ).
The next stop in a tour is the Monastery of Saint David (30 mins) and Drimona Waterfalls (30 mins) for a short walk along the cool waters and fresh forest.
The last stop is Vasilika beach for swimming..
to Pefki at about 18.30.
With the bus at 8.30 in front of Kerasiotis Caffe.
First stop is Edipsos for about 45mins to swim in the hot thermal waters.
Next is Agios Georgios with a boat tour of the vulcanic islands for about 40 min. Sites include a shipwreck at 10 m under the water, a family of seals, an old abandoned village and the ruins of an old monastery.
Next is a stop on one of the islands for about 4h30min and lunch will be on the beach.
to Agios Georfios by boat (about 30 minutes) and then the bus to return to Pefki.
Pefki at about 18.30.
at 9am from Pefki Port.
3 hours spend at the beach in Koukounaries and 3 hours spent in Skiathos city.
at 6.45 in the afternoon.
In the city you have free time and you can visit Papadiamantis house and the church of Agios Nikolaos.
